Greetings from lovely stuck-in-1979 Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I am a 48 year old Kinsey 6 who is working to write his memoirs, from a fractured childhood, to a disillusioned career in the arts, and finally from a lowly office schlepp, trying to recall what brought his life to where it is, and figure out where it’s going to finish.
My three categories above are ‘Cruise Ship Diaries’, which is an e-mail diary I kept from 1999 to 2000. Six months working on the Carnival Cruise ‘Fascination’, followed by two months in Peru, and seven months trying to live in Puerto Rico. If you’ve ever thought about working on a cruise ship, read this.
Next is ‘Mann UNkind’. These are basically my musings and observations on life. I have a seriously Brechtian view of the world. Beware.
Still in the writing stages is ‘A Life UNkind’, which is my writing as much of my life down as I can recall before I die. From the usual (well, maybe not QUITE so ‘usual’) dysfunctional childhood to a disillusioned adult life, it’s as true as I can be.
If you like what you read, tell me. If you REALLY like what you read, you can send donations to my Paypal.
I think after you read…you’ll see…I could use it…as well as a little positive reinforcement.
I’m looking forward to embarking on this journey of memories.
